DC3 Work Space was privileged to take on the refurbishment of the Loganholme based Westbuilt Homes office. Although the space was modern and had a functional layout, there was issues such as a lack of desks and furnishings in the space and no front reception to greet clients in. The walls were in need of a fresh paint and some brightening up of the lighting. The wood floors looked aesthetically pleasing but caused the space to have a echo.
The DC3 team worked with the clients to decide on a new furniture and reception layout that suited the needs of the staff working in the space. We worked within the time constraints of 2 weeks and the design requirements to make the space custom designed to the needs of the user. The walls were painted, ceiling tiles replaced, and a movable custom made divider was built offsite and installed in the space to screen off the offices from the reception. Acoustic carpet tiles were installed to improve the acoustics in the space, and finally, modern and sleek desks were installed for the staff, along with all the necessary connections to easily mount their screens and plug in their devices.
The staff at Westbuilt were able to move back into their new office space after 2 weeks, and now enjoy using the new facility with a upgraded appearance and better functionality.
