Darling Downs Bank (formerly Warwick Credit Union) has expanded to many other regions across Queensland, and saw the opportunity to fill a need in Toowoomba. This coincided with their rebranding project, which provided a perfect opportunity to develop the brand into the new build. Our client needed to maximise the spaciousness for customers, while simultaneously providing practical back of house facilities, and private meeting rooms for client meetings.
The team at DC3 took on the challenge. Partnering with interior designer Sam Webb of The Paradigm Room, we set up a weekly cadence of meetings. This allowed our busy clients to maintain focus on their jobs, and still stay closely in touch with our team through the design & construction phases. We loved the way that Darling Downs Bank is so passionate and clear on their objectives. The design brief was clear: A homely feeling branch which is customer focused, and has generous space for the clients, while maintaining an efficient, functional back of house layout. Working closely with their security and IT teams, clear communication enabled our team to deliver the build in 4 short weeks from site access!
