Problem

The owners of a heritage building (est. 1892) in Toowoomba wanted to revitalise an unused upstairs warehouse space, converting it into functional, boutique office tenancies while still preserving the building’s authenticity and character.

What We Are Doing

DC³ Work Space is designing and delivering a modern multi-tenancy office suite fitout that balances heritage with functionality.

Key features included:

✔️ Converted the old warehouse into 3 boutique professional tenancies
✔️ Designed spaces suitable for up to 40 employees in Tenancy M
✔️ Integrated air conditioning + 4kW solar contribution
✔️ Created two levels connected by an internal staircase, with flexibility to seal off for separate use
✔️ Ensured direct access to shared boardroom, interview spaces, kitchen, and open breakout areas
✔️ Retained natural light and character while delivering a modern workplace

Outcome

The once-vacant warehouse will be a vibrant, professional hub for multiple tenants,  offering modern amenities,
flexible layouts, and a unique workplace experience inside one of Toowoomba’s most historic buildings.
